About Us
Jerry Peters was founded in 1973 by Jerry and Barbara Peters in Bristol, Virginia, and was operated from a small office in their home. Jerry and Barbara's motivation for starting the business was to provide a "sideline" business to their full-time jobs, with hopes of growing it into a successful, profitable business.At the time they started the business, the majority of the sales were in pens, pencils, key chains, and calendars. Today, while we continue to provide those items extensively, we have expanded our markets to include wearable's — including several corporate wearable's programs, executive gifts, and incentives. Both Jerry and Barbara remain in the business and are very active in the day-to-day sales.
In 2001, Jerry and Barbara Peters chose to step back and enjoy more "recreation and relaxation" and transferred responsibility of the business to their 2 daughters, Kim Warren and Tammy Jackson. However, both Jerry and Barbara remain active in the business.
